Strategic Planning Conference and Training Workshop
Objective:
Implementing a Strategic Plan grounds your organization/business dreams. It does this by giving both structure and direction to initiatives. By creating this process in a group effort it allows your organization/business to build consensus around your focus and the necessary steps that your organization/business should take. It allows you to focus on your short-term goals while always keeping sight of your long-term vision and mission. It is by far one of the most important responsibilities of any Board of Director member, administrator, President etc. All of your actions should stem from your strategic plan.

The meeting was productive with the group gathered. The flexibility was very appreciated and worked well with the group. We have many new members. Kate presented the “why” as well as the “how” in strategic planning. She put together a clear presentation for our team. She also put together some information and history to help our new members learn about the journey of the organization as well as current programs and services offered. Our time spent planning was productive and when we left we had a solid plan of next steps for the board members. Laura Kaplan, Executive Director of Southbridge Interfaith Hospitality Network

Kate's balance of pushing us to work and praising us for our accomplishments made the work seem much less burdensome and made the time fly. Not only did we accomplish more than expected, we left with an enthusiasm to do more.
