Grant writing will provide a blueprint for moving from dreams, to actions, to positive funding outcomes! Grant writing is a vehicle not only for obtaining much needed resources, but also for engaging in planning and organizational development.
Learn about the grant writing process and the important role it can play in generating substantial funding opportunities. With today’s fiscal budget constraints, grant writing has the potential for participants to reach their vision and goals. As a grant writer who has personally received over $7.6M in funding and a contributor on many grant evaluation committees, the facilitator will give administrators, teachers, nurses, health care professions, non-profit organiztions and business enterprises good insight into what the “evaluators” are looking for to enhance successful funding.
Participants will learn about Government, Foundation, Private and Organizational grants and also different types of proposals such as Planning grants, Seed money or Start-Up grants, Management or Technical Assistance grants, & Facilities and Equipment Grants. You will also learn about important strategies to justify funding requests such as the ever important needs assessment.
We also offer Needs Assessment and Research Conference & Training Workshops. Would you like to access funding for increased services, educational programs, curriculum development, increased staff and community-based partnerships by engaging in research projects? A longitudinal study using the “individual unit of measurement”, is the key to successful outcomes in future proposals. Participants will learn the programmatics of implementing a research study and familiarize themselves with designing a customized Collection Tool. Studies of this nature are needed but are too few, and in most cases generate multi-million dollar funding results! (See Research Link.)
